Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and provide information to site owners.
How CareWaly Uses Storage
CareWaly primarily uses localStorage (not traditional cookies) for the following purposes:
Essential Storage
- Authentication Token: We store a JWT (JSON Web Token) in localStorage to keep you logged in. This is essential for the Platform to function.
What We Don't Use
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies
- We do not use tracking pixels or beacons
- We do not share cookie data with advertisers
- We do not use analytics cookies (we may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future)
Managing Your Data
You can clear your localStorage data at any time through your browser's developer tools or settings. Note that clearing localStorage will log you out of CareWaly.
Third-Party Services
Our map feature uses OpenStreetMap tiles which are loaded from third-party servers. These requests may be logged by the tile provider under their own privacy policy.
Changes
If we begin using cookies or additional storage mechanisms in the future, we will update this policy and notify users.
